Strawberry Sheet Cake


 2 heaping cups sliced fresh strawberries.
 1 box white cake mix.
 1 PKG strawberry gelatin.
 3/4 cup vegetable oil.
 3 large eggs.
Strawberry Frosting
 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries.
 2 cups confectioners’ sugar.
 1 cup softened butter.
 1 tsp vanilla extract.


Spray a plate gently with a cooking spray and preheat oven to 350 ° F.

In a blender or food processor, put 2 cups of strawberries and process until very finely chopped. Measure 1 cup.
 In a mixing bowl, incorporate cake mixture, milk, and vegetable oil. Mix together with a hand mixer for 4 minutes.
Mix the strawberry puree in 1 cup with the strawberry gelatin.
Spread the batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until clean falls out a wooden pick inserted in the middle. Remove it from the oven. Let it cool for 12 minutes.

How to Make the frosting?
Mix the remaining 2 cups of strawberries in a blender until smooth.
You should mix them if you have leftover strawberries from creating the cake batter.

Bring the strawberry puree to a simmer in a small saucepan,  stirring until thickened.   Let go totally cool.

To beat butter, use an electric mixer and beat until smooth.
Place in 1 cup of sugar and then half of decreased 1/3 cup of strawberry puree, beat in the extract of vanilla, and add in a cup of confectioners sugar and the remaining puree.
Add the last cup of confectioners’ sugar and beat again.
And Your Frosting Is Done!!! Spread it on cooled cake.
